Schedule: Evening and Night Hours, Monday–Friday (with occasional weekends as needed)

Position Summary

The Evening Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, coaching, and developing cleaning teams while ensuring all customer locations meet company quality standards. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively inspect facilities, address issues in real time, support employee development, and maintain strong customer satisfaction. The Evening Supervisor serves as the primary field leader during evening operations.

Essential Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Employee Development

  • Lead and supervise evening cleaning crews across multiple customer locations.
  • Train new employees on company cleaning procedures, safety standards, and client-specific requirements.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members.
  • Develop employees through cross-training and skill-building opportunities.
  • Promote accountability, attendance, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and retention initiatives.
Quality Assurance & Inspections

  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Complete documented quality inspections and corrective action reports.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
  • Monitor compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and company policies.
  • Ensure cleaning specifications are consistently met at all assigned accounts.
Operations Management

  • Fill staffing gaps when necessary and provide hands-on cleaning support.
  • Coordinate supply replenishment and equipment maintenance needs.
  • Monitor labor hours and productivity throughout assigned locations.
  • Ensure work is completed on schedule and within labor budgets.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning situations, call-outs, and customer concerns.
Customer Service

  • Build positive working relationships with customers and facility contacts.
  • Address service concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate customer requests and operational updates to management.
  • Support customer retention through proactive communication and service excellence.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience training and developing frontline employees.
  • Experience conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning duties as needed.
Preferred

  • Experience managing multiple facilities or multiple crews.
  • Knowledge of floor care, carpet care, restroom sanitation, and specialty cleaning procedures.
  • Experience using inspection software and workforce management systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
