Full Time • Terre Haute

 

Position Title:          Team Lead    

 

Reports To:               General Manager and Area Manager 

 

Supervises:               A Geographical area of customers & employees.  Sometimes in the same building, often times multiple buildings.

 

Basic Function:   Clean assigned number of hours based on hands-on contracts

Guarantees fill-in coverage up at least a minimum of 5 total hours per week

Guarantees a minimum of 5 hrs/wk of other team lead responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  1. POSITIVE TEAM ATMOSPHERE with your front line employees in your assigned zone(s) by:
    • Taking, logging & responding to Account Manager’s communications (text, voicemail, e-mail or FB message, etc) in a timely manner – COMMUNICATION is of the UTMOST importance when establishing relationships with your team.
    • Prompt Delivery & Diligent upkeep of Office Pride of Terre Haute (OPTH) provided equipment, cleaning supply stock, customer’s consumables (if provided by OPTH) & maintaining accurate records of chemicals and supplies stocked & distributed.
    • Follow-up with new hire(s), after initial training (to be done by the Area Lead), for further training, if needed, as well as support and encouragement – get to know your team member while working alongside him/her. Check in with him/her periodically.
    • Note & evaluate your team member’s performance to gauge if they are promotable. If at all possible, we want to promote from within.

 

  1. UPWARD COMMUNICATION to the Area Lead by:
    • Proactively reporting findings from interactions with your team members
  • - Report quality & compliance concerns (re-training, etc)
  • - Recognition for team member’s witnessed exemplifying one or more OPTH core values, favorites for good inspections

 

  1. ACCOUNTIBILITY by:
    • Preparing and submitting daily typed reports to Area Lead on execution of Team Lead responsibilities, interactions & observations.

Compensation: $10 an hour
