Commercial Cleaning Technician – Regional Floater 

Greater Bangor Region | Evening Position | 25–40 Hours Per Week 

 

Office Pride of Maine is hiring a Commercial Cleaning Technician – Regional Floater to support customer locations throughout the greater Bangor region. 

This is an evening cleaning position for someone who is reliable, flexible, and comfortable traveling between job sites. The right person will help cover open shifts, support new accounts, assist with special cleaning needs, and provide high-quality service in each building. 

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and can be counted on to show up, follow through, and do the job right. 

 

Schedule 


25 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week 

Applicants must be available to work evening shifts between 5:00 PM and 1:30 AM

Exact start times, end times, and locations may vary based on customer needs and job site coverage. 

 

Job Responsibilities 


Responsibilities may include: 

  • Travel to assigned customer locations throughout the greater Bangor region 
  • Fill in for evening cleaning shifts when coverage is needed 
  • Perform routine commercial cleaning tasks at assigned job sites 
  • Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces 
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, remove trash, and restock supplies 
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces 
  • Follow site-specific cleaning instructions 
  • Assist with detail cleaning and account start-up needs as assigned 
  • Report supply needs, maintenance concerns, or service issues to management 
  • Work professionally and respectfully in customer buildings

Requirements 


  • Reliable, insured transportation required 
  • Valid driver’s license required 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to job sites within the greater Bangor region 
  • Must be available to work between 5:00 PM and 1:30 AM 
  • Must be able to pass required background checks 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift 
  • Prior commercial cleaning experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate

Compensation: $18.25 per hour
