A Team Lead manages and performs all cleaning functions. They oversee projects, various tasks, and supervise the day-to-day performance of cleaning staff to ensure the job is done according to Office Pride Standards. Team Leads act as motivators, supervisors, and mentors. It’s a Team Lead’s duty to guide front line cleaners into understanding and maintaining the values of our growing company.

Supervises: Front Line Cleaners, Site Supervisors
Basic Function: Ensure that the cleaning specifications sold to the client are being fulfilled and that the work is being completed on-time and within budget (labor and chemicals). This is a KEY role within the company and offers opportunity for advancement upon demonstrated performance.

Job Duties:

Oversee the cleaning of facilities assigned to you on a nightly/regular basis
Train and support new employees
Conduct regular inspections of the facility and provide re-training to employees when necessary
Cross-train employees to work in buildings to provide coverage when needed
Ensure facilities have working equipment and enough supplies to get the job done, report problems/shortages to the office
Ensure compliance of Office Pride policies and procedures
Enforce safety and security measures at all times
Follow-up on customer complaints (coordinate with the office)
Perform other duties/tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Able to communicate in English
Must be able to multi-task, be dependable, have excellent communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where changes may occur with little notice
Must be able to maintain open communication with the leadership team, clients, and employees
History that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility
Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must care about quality, be detailed oriented, and work at an efficient pace
Able to lift 35 lbs and physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel to our office in Mason City
Must be okay working in a factory environment (using PPE when required)

Job Details:

Located in Mason City, IA
Travel outside of Mason City will be required
Team Leads are eligible to use a company vehicle

Compensation: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
