We are a local commercial cleaning company dedicated to delivering top-quality service in Lee, Collier, Charlotte and Hendry Counties. We are seeking a skilled individual to ensure the smooth execution of our janitorial services. As the Janitorial Operations Manager you will be overseeing the cleaning of buildings, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety while managing staff, budgets, and client relationships. Those responsibilities will include scheduling, training, and motivating janitorial staff, maintaining quality control, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting with clients. Must have the ability to work through Lead cleaners and floats. Mentor and grow employees into positions.
Compensation:
· Salary $55,000 -$60,000
· Holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management: Train, and supervise janitorial staff, including creating schedules, addressing employee issues, and managing performance. Mentor and grow employees into positions.

Quality Control: Ensure consistent and high-quality cleaning standards, conduct inspections, and implement process improvements.

Budget Management: Control and manage budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment.

Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, address their concerns, and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Sell additional services.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies and maintain a safe working environment.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order/restock as needed.

Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, review labor hours, scheduling, and reporting.
Essential Skills:

Leadership and Supervision: Ability to motivate, mentor, train, and supervise a team of leads and cleaning staff through direct contact and delegation.

Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and hold people accountable.

Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to identify and resolve issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and janitorial management software preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Knowledge of Cleaning Procedures: Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies. Carpet care and cleaning; stripping/cleaning/buffing of floor types; floor care chemicals; operation of floor care equipment. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in janitorial services, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Budgeting and Financial Management: Ability to manage budgets and track expenses.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of janitorial and/or management experience.
· Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have a good driving record in order to fulfill the duties of this position, as travel between accounts are required.
· This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that are required are, reaching, climbing, stooping and or kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, writing and seeing.
· Employer participates in E-Verify and conducts background screening.
